Repeat Prescriptionsorange_pills

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

In Person - drop your repeat counterfoil in at reception with the required items clearly marked.

By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.

By Email - Please email the practice on our generic email nelondonicb.F86658discharge@nhs.net with your request.

On-line - you will require a password for this. (please enquire at reception)

We are unable to accept prescription requests over the telephone unless you are a housebound patient.

Some Pharmacies also offer a free delivery service to help elderly and housebound patients. Speak to your chemist to see if they offer collection/delivery facilities.

Private Prescriptions

Please note we will not always be able to transfer private prescriptions over to the NHS. The medication usually needs to be started under the supervision of the prescribing consultant. Subsequent medication may be issued by the practice after we have had prior notification from the consultant informing us of a diagnosis and the need for ongoing/continual treatment.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.
