PATIENTS WHO DO NOT ATTEND (D.N.A’S)

We lose between 20-25 appointments each month because patients book appointments then fail to turn up. This is very wasteful of doctor and nurse time, time which could have been used for other patients. There are many reasons for this behaviour including forgetfulness, travel problems and difficulty contacting us by telephone amongst others.

If you cannot keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible by telephoning:- 020 8 491 3303.

You may also cancel your appointment by faxing the practice on the following number:-  020 8559 2451.

If you have booked your appointment using the internet access, you can also cancel your appointment using the same service.

If possible please give as much notice as possible, as this appointment could be offered to another.

SMS TEXT MESSAGES

    • Patients who do not attend their appointments will get an automatic text message to inform them that they did not attend their appointment.

    • This is to remind you to book another appointment if necessary and also to remind you not to DNA any future appointments and to cancel them so that they can be given to another patient
